Nicky Beer has received a Literature Fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts, a “Discovery”/The Nation Award, and a Discovered Voices Award from Iron Horse Literary Review.  Her poems have been published in Best American Poetry 2007, AGNI, Crazyhorse, Indiana Review, Kenyon Review, The Nation, Notre Dame Review, and elsewhere.  She lives in Kentucky, where she is currently a visiting poet at Murray State University.
